A CAP Team is a cross-functional team of individuals per CAP who examine data, discuss friction points, build community and contextualization around areas of study, and communicate pertinent information with departments, support centers, and student services units. All members of the CAP Team (e.g., data coach, faculty, counselor, GP Facilitator, GP student ambassador, etc.) will meet regularly, establish clear priorities and objectives, use data to perform inquiry, and communicate with campus personnel, units, departments, and collaborative partners such as Student Services Teams, PD, AJCC, OIEA, etc.

The two roles we are recruiting for are Discipline Faculty and Data Coaches. If you are passionate about student success, have good interpersonal communication skills, and can be flexible and adaptable to the evolving nature of the work to be done in a CAP team, then we are looking for you!

Discipline Faculty: Shares discipline expertise and seeks opportunities to collaborate with other disciplines, departments, and units; facilitates dialog with other faculty about the findings of the CAP Team; works with counselor(s) on CAP Team and keeps up-to-date on their program’s requirements, transfer options, career options, and support services in order to be a resource for students in the CAP.

Data Coach: Collects, analyzes, interprets data that align with CAP Team priorities; communicates relevant findings to departments and units on campus.
