Worcester Poets Laureate Appearance      Request Form
The City of Worcester Poet Laureate, Oliver de la Paz, and Youth Poet Laureate, Serenity Jackson, serve as official ambassadors of our historic, vibrant poetic and literary culture, using their positions to promote our great writers and the transformative qualities of poetry and the written word throughout the community.

In addition to enhancing the presence and appreciation of poetry and literary arts in Greater Worcester, the Poets Laureate are available to participate in public and private programming in their official capacity as poetic ambassadors. The Worcester Poets Laureate navigate a variety of professional and academic commitments, so advanced scheduling is requested, and organizer patience and flexibility are greatly appreciated.

Please complete the Appearance Request Form below to begin the process of scheduling an official appearance. A team member will review your submission and contact you for additional information. Please note, submission of this form does not constitute a finalized appearance booking. Our team will reach out to confirm the Poets' Laureate availability and finalize appearance scheduling.
Thank you for celebrating poetry with us!

The Poets Laureate spend a significant amount of their time, energy and resources preparing for projects, commuting, developing their poems, and working in the community. We advocate for all performing artists, including the Poets Laureate, to be compensated for their work. A recommended stipend of $100 - 500 dollars may be appropriate depending on the commission and/or workshop.

If there will be monetary compensation (e.g., stipend, honorarium, performance fee) for the Poet(s) Laureate, please indicate the proposed amount:
Thank you for your submission and for your interest in collaborating with the Worcester Poets Laureate!
