Dear 2021-2022 Athletic Leadership Applicants,

The Woodside High School Athletic Leadership Team is a highly selective organization, and we are pleased that you have chosen to go through the application process. Athletic Leadership is composed of Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. While applying for Athletic Leadership, please remember that you are making a commitment to the organization for as long as you are a member, and are expected to contribute your time and skill. Students have the opportunity to plan and work behind the scenes of school-wide events, fundraisers, dances; sell concessions at sporting events; serve the community; learn about and practice leadership; and much more.

Athletic Leadership Application Policies

Members at Large: Being a part of the Athletic Leadership Teams means being a representative for the Student Body. There is additionally a significant out-of-school commitment.

Members will be expected to perform the following duties:
o Attend all Athletic Leadership meetings and events
o Interact in person, by phone or over email with council members, students, adults at Woodside, adults in the community and parents with good speaking and social skills.
o Always represent the school and the Athletic Leadership Teams with character, integrity and pride.
o Commit and follow-through when it comes to planning and implementing events.
o Participate in Woodside High School & Athletic Leadership activities including, but not limited to:
 Attending WoHS sporting and arts events
 Completing community service hours
 Participating in assemblies.
 Attending Retreats, Camps and outings
 Making posters to advertise events
