Barnard Campus CU ID Card Swipe: Access Request Form
Columbia Affiliate ID Cards are enabled with basic Barnard Library Affiliate and Dining access. If additional building access is needed, this form is used to make such request. Some individual spaces require permissions from a department or individual.
It is also possible that access errors can occur. If access once worked and now is not, confirm your ID is still current. If you have been away from campus for an extended period of time, it may take two swipes to re-initiate access.  Note that if you replace your ID and subsequently find an older ID, the older ID will not longer allow swipe access.

Please complete this form when you are requesting a review of access or adding new access for yourself to a Barnard College building or space that is enabled with Card Reader swipe access.

Access requests for Columbia buildings are to be requested here: https://publicsafety.columbia.edu/content/id-card-access
