Third Place Books Event Proposal 

Thank you for your interest in setting up an author event at Third Place Books. We take pride in giving authors a space to promote their work and connect with our community.

Third Place Books hosts well over events a year between our three locations in Seattle and Lake Forest Park, WA. As such, we receive dozens of proposals a month and appreciate your patience as you await a response from our events team. Proposals may take up to 2 weeks to consider.

Please note that Third Place Books has three store locations, all of which host author events. If your proposal is approved, the events staff will determine which location is most suitable for your event based on information you provide below. If you or your author are local to the Seattle area and have a preferred location, please note as such.

Completion of a proposal does not guarantee an event at Third Place Books. All proposals are subject to approval. Once approved, we’ll ask for a high-resolution author photo and front cover image. Events are generally booked 3-4 months in advance, but there are always exceptions; requests for events within 30 days of publication date may be discarded.
