This is a preliminary application for the 2022 Beckman Scholars Award.  Prospective applicants should complete this form after they have consulted with an eligible Beckman faculty mentor who will sponsor their research, and they have identified an additional Barnard faculty member to write a second recommendation letter.   This form is due Monday February 14th, 2022.

The 2022 award will support two Barnard Beckman Scholars for 15 months, from summer 2022 through summer 2023 including the intervening academic year.  To be eligible, candidates must commit to research during this period. Candidates who will be juniors in Fall 2022 are especially encouraged to apply.  Students graduating in 2022 are not eligible.

Those who complete this preliminary application will receive an e-mail with instructions for submitting complete application materials.  Please also see the Barnard Beckman Scholars website for details. The full application will be due Monday, February 28, 2022.
