THE BIAS REPORTING FORM HAS MOVED!
THIS FORM HAS MOVED!
You can now report bias incidents through the central reporting form for concerning behavior and incidents. You can find the updated form here: https://forms.gle/VhPzBqXC6QfEAGRM6

At Lab, we believe that disagreements about values, beliefs, approaches, or opinions are natural in a school environment and serve to help students develop and hone their personal ideas and viewpoints. However, a person's identity is not cause for debate or disagreement. Discriminating against others based on their identity is fundamentally disrespectful, can be disruptive to the learning environment, and can have the purpose or effect of interfering with others’ equal access to a Lab School education.

A bias incident involves actions committed against or directed toward a person or property that are motivated, in whole or in part, by a bias against race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national or ethnic origin, age, status as an individual with a disability, protected veteran status, genetic information, or other protected classes as required by law and that interferes with one's educational opportunities or disrupts the learning environment.

If you have observed or experienced an incident of bias please complete this form to report your concern. Please review the FAQs on the bias reporting page before submitting the report.

All reports will be reviewed by the Director for Equal Opportunity Services/Deputy Title IX Coordinator, who will then ensure Lab takes steps to assess the report, gather facts as appropriate, address the impact that these behaviors have on our community, and provide the affected individual(s) with support. If you provided your contact information, you should expect to receive a follow up email within three business days.
