Beginning Years Learning Report Feedback
Thanks for your help designing a Learning Report that clearly communicates our Beginning Years' program priorities and your child's progress toward those outcomes. Although our ability to change the design itself (font, ability to link, other visual components) is limited by the platform, the content can be updated for clarity and usefulness based on your feedback. Thanks for your feedback!

For which grade level/s did you receive a Learning Report? *
Required
Overall, how well did you feel you understood your child's progress based on the Learning Report alone? *
Not well at all
I had a complete understanding
Did receiving the Learning Report in advance help you come to the conference with questions or insight about your child's learning? *
Considering the combination of the Learning Report and the conference, how well do you feel you understand your child's progress after experiencing both components? *
Not well at all
I have a complete understanding
The report began with a curiosity narrative, with the goals of helping illuminate this particular priority in our program and helping you gain a picture of how your child's curiosity is showing up in the classroom. How well did this section accomplish these goals? *
Not well at all
It accomplished both of those goals well
The scale we used for most sections of the report indicated whether a skill had not yet been observed, was developing, or was being observed consistently. How well did this scale help you understand your child's strengths and areas for growth? *
Not well at all
It gave me a good picture of strengths and areas for growth.
The Relationship and Agency section was designed to help you understand key indicators of how your child functions in the classroom and community. Did you feel like you emerged with a good understanding of what is expected and what your child can still work on in these areas? *
I still have a lot of questions about this
I feel like I have a good understanding
The Building Meaning and Communication sections were designed to help you understand how your child is progressing through indicators of understanding in the more academic areas of classroom life. Did you feel like you emerged with a good understanding of what is expected and what your child can still work on in these areas? *
I still have a lot of questions about this
I feel like I have a good understanding
(You can skip this question if you received a PreK report). The report was designed by age level to allow us flexibility where we needed it, particularly in Kindergarten, Primary and First Grade. We also hoped it could show what indicators of learning come next for your child on their journey through Beginning Years. How well do you think we accomplished this goal?
I found it very confusing to have multiple ages on the same report
I found it helpful to see a range of indicators by age on the report
Clear selection
What feedback do you have for us about what you hope we keep, what you think could be revised, what was helpful or what was confusing on the Learning Report? *
Any last thoughts? Thanks again! *
