The application period for traineeships in ESTCube and the Space technology department in Tartu Observatory has been opened! This year because of the COVID-19 situation we expect most of the traineeships to be done remotely. However if you are working on hardware, it might also be necessary to go to the observatory on some days.

The goal of this year's traineeship program is to get the satellite ready - all people applying should also be willing to commit to a longer time to working on the satellite as the launch of ESTCube-2 is coming up rapidly.

Deadline for applying is 25th of May 2020. Chosen interns will be announced in the first week of June unless we also need to conduct online interviews, which might move the announcements to 1 week later - we will keep you updated!

Internships also include a stipend (100 euro per week). The maximum duration of the internship is 10 weeks over the summer. The minimum length is 8 weeks.
