Cat Care:  Minimum age is 16.  Cat Care volunteers work each morning before the shelter opens to the public.  Volunteers will be sterilizing cages, washing food bowls and litter boxes, sweeping and mopping the floor, etc.  There will be opportunity to socialize the cats. Volunteers are expected to sign up for one shift per week. You will
be required to attend a combined orientation and training session.

Dog Care: Minimum age is 18.  Dog Kennel volunteers work each morning before the shelter opens to the public.
Volunteers will be cleaning dog runs, washing food bowls, folding laundry, mopping the floor, etc. Volunteers are expected to sign up for one shift per week. You will be required to attend a combined orientation and training session.
