I pledge that, while I am on school journey with St. Stephen’s CE Primary School, I will:

- Listen to and follow instructions given by an adult accompanying or associated with the group;
- Behave in an appropriate and sensible manner at all times, with due regard to other people, their property and the environment of the surrounding countryside;
- Always build each other up in love and learning; be an upstander against any form of hate or prejudice.
- Respect and observe Juniper Hall’s rules and regulations;
- Use litter bins provided at all time;
- Treat all the other St. Stephen’s children with respect; build each other up in love and learning
- Not use activity areas/equipment without supervision;
- Keep rooms clean and tidy at all times;
- Never eat in my room;
- Stay in my own room and never enter anyone else’s room;
- Never keep my roommates awake when it’s time to sleep;
- Be prompt to activity sessions and meals;
- Never do anything to compromise anyone else’s safety;
- Always tell an adult if I have a problem, so that it can be sorted out quickly;
- Never moan and object just because I’m in a bad mood and so spoil other people’s enjoyment;
- Always have a happy smile and a positive attitude so that I leave Hooke Court staff with a good opinion of St. Stephen’s children and make my teachers proud of me

I understand that if I do not hold to my pledge each day, I will receive warnings and the following consequences will be applied:

One warning: 20 minutes missed free time
Two warnings: Free time missed completely
Three warnings: Remain with adult for all activities that day and missed free time
Four warnings: Phone call home to parents
Five warnings: In consultation with parents and teachers, will arrange transport home.

Adults will record warnings given. Warnings are not carried over to the following day; each morning will be a fresh start and a chance to redeem myself.
