Partners Club ExCo Application 22/23

Thank you for showing interest in becoming a part of the Partners Club ExCo team. Below are the open positions for the year 2022/23 with briefly stated responsibilities.

The ideal candidate must feel responsible for and committed to the position. The roles do not generally demand a large number of hours in a week.

Open Positions with responsibilities:
Co-President (x2):
1. You will be responsible for leading the club and ensuring that the partners community is well engaged.
2. Ideate & execute initiatives and events for the club, such as the Buddy Programme, career workshops, family support network, etc.
3. Overseeing any and all events, pitching ideas to the club, organising any and all details, and working with all other positions as well as other clubs.
4. Work closely with the ExCo team to drive projects from ideation until execution.
5. Any prior experience with leading clubs/organisations/teams is helpful.
6. Liaising with other club presidents to organise events in collaboration.

Finance VP:
1. Plan & manage budget and spend for the year.
2. Set up finance codes for events organised by the Partners Club and help ensure reimbursements and related matters are solved in a timely manner.

Careers VP:
1. Organise career events for the incoming batch of partners.
2. Proactively help partners get access to relevant information/resources/people/agencies to find work in London.
3. CV building.
4. Organise webinars or in-person speaker events.

Family VP:
1. Organise social events tailored for parents/families.
2. Proactively help parents get access to relevant family and child care information/resources/people in London.

Social Events VP (x3):
1. Organise social events to help people mingle and make friends within the LBS community and beyond.
2. Organise events to make the most of the rich history and culture London has to offer.
3. Work with relevant ExCo team members to coordinate events.
4. Pitch new ideas within budget to make the most out of the resources the club offers.
5. See through the event from ideation to execution to make it a memorable one!

Comms & Marketing VP (x2):
1. Develop creative content for the club’s events and initiatives (e.g. posters, images for social media) in collaboration with relevant ExCo members.
2. Manage the club's Facebook and Instagram pages, email account and WhatsApp group.
3. Draft and send club communication to partners regarding upcoming webinars, socials, and other events.
4. Create events on Campus Group and execute the end-to-end communication via the website.
5. Any prior experience with creating and managing content as well as design is helpful.
6. Demonstrate innovative ideas and content creation.
