Nigeria is the 4th fastest growing developer community in the world and largest in Africa.

CodeNaija is a Nigerian hackathon hosted by the Blacktocats, GitHub's Black Employee Resource Group and Andela, with Flutterwave and Microsoft as sponsors. The goal of the hackathon is to highlight the existing community of Nigerian developers by showcasing their amazing talent and work.

The selected participants will focus on leveraging Open Source technologies to build applications and services that serve to improve the lives of everyday citizens in the region.
