Communities can be based off of any concept or idea that interests people to the point where they have some kind of passion that they want to share with others. Do any of the connection methods click with you?

Choose social media to fit your intentions. For example the Next Door app is a good way to connect with others in your immediate community
Attend events that fit with your interests. If nothing is interesting, plan your own event (e.g. picking up trash along a main rode that borders your community)
Put a question out and see if others have the same interests as you and plan a get together
Write below what community connection action you took or are thinking of taking, and what the reaction was, good or bad, and how connecting made you feel?
Enjoy these good thoughts and feelings for at least 10 seconds
Write your gratitude in your journal or app
Share at least 2 good feelings in "other" below you had from connecting
