Agroforestry in Hawaiʻi: Survey of programmatic needs, challenges, and interests
Aloha, thank you for your interest in participating in this survey. This survey will inform a collaborative effort between the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources at the University of Hawaiʻi and the US Department of Agriculture Southwest Climate Hub aimed at developing impactful programs around agroforestry and climate resilience. Our collective goal is to deepen our understanding and enhance support for agroforestry practices across Hawaiʻi. We’re interest to hear from both individuals and organizations who are actively involved or interested in exploring agroforestry, focusing on identifying specific needs, challenges, and interests in agroforestry and related climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts. The insights gathered from this survey will be instrumental in shaping future programs and initiatives designed to support agroforestry practices. Information gathered here will not be used for research purposes, and only summarized information may be shared publicly (e.g. what percent of all respondents currently practice agroforestry).

This survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Your contribution is valuable to us, and we thank you for sharing your perspectives. Please reach out to Dr. Ashley McGuigan at aamcguig@hawaii.edu with any questions and/or concerns, or for further information.
