SCEC CSM Model Contribution Form
Thank you for your interest in contributing to the SCEC Community Stress Model!

If you're submitting a stress or stressing rate model, please provide model values in a single ascii text file with the 6 component stress tensor (in MPa or MPa/yr) sampled at the grid points provided in the CSM grid file (https://files.scec.org/s3fs-public/CSM_grid.txt.zip). You can omit points that lie outside your model bounds. If your model has no depth variations but applies to a range of depths, please provide duplicate values at all relevant depths. In addition to the 6 component stress tensor, optionally provide estimates of SHmax trend and uncertainty, principal stress magnitudes and uncertainty, and/or principal stress axes and uncertainty (either as angular uncertainty or normalized tensor dot product).

If you're submitting a different type of dataset related to stress or other CSM contributon (e.g., stress observations), please provide a single ascii text file with latitude, longitude, depth, and other information as you see fit.

For either type of submission, the form below collects some basic but necessary metadata information that may be published along with your contribution.  Please provide as much information as possible to assist future users.

Keep in mind that the CSM is a community effort, and we make updates no more than once per year.  Please be patient as the CSM development team will need time to review each submission before it can become part of the next CSM version.

Thank-you for your CSM submission!
