Volunteer Opportunities
Choose as many of the areas below that are of interest to you. We appreciate your support!
SPECIAL PROGRAMS: School Store - The School Store is our year-long partnership with Fay. Volunteers can work a weekly cashier shift - helping students shop, organize store/straighten displays, process purchases or help with annual inventory.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS: Mooseduds & Sportsduds - Mooseduds collects and sells donated, gently-used dress-code clothing and sporting equipment. Volunteers can help by working a morning or afternoon shift in the Mooseduds room (days to be determined). Help collect donations at clothing drives at drop-off and pickup times, usually 2 or 3 times a year.
HOSPITALITY: Gala - This bi-annual event is our major fundraiser and offers many opportunities to volunteer and support the school and the PA.
HOSPITALITY: Fall/Winter Campus Decoration - Help decorate our campus in preparation for Parents' Weekend and again before the winter holiday season.
HOSPITALITY: Holiday Reception - Check this box to help with the Holiday Concert and Cookie reception. Tasks include decorating prior to the event, collecting cookies, serving on the day of the event, and cleanup after the concert.
HOSPITALITY: Grandparents' Day - Volunteers help set up Harlow Gym for the luncheon, help serve lunch, and help with family photos.
PARENT SERVICES: Division-Level Coordinators - Division-Level Coordinators provide an invaluable service in being a communications and support link between families and teachers/classrooms throughout the year. Division-Level Coordinators help facilitate emails to class provided by PA leadership, volunteer recruitment, faculty appreciation breakfasts, and any class parent get-togethers.
PARENT SERVICES: Parent Independent School Network (PIN) - Represent Fay at six off-site meetings arranged by a consortium of independent school representatives. Two PIN representatives share information from lectures with the Fay community through designated Open Parent Meetings and the PA website.
PARENT SERVICES: Helping Hands - Helping Hands answers the anonymous call to help those in the Fay community (including parents, families, faculty and staff) that may need temporary support or assistance through difficult times. Assistance often takes the form of a hot meal, playdate support or rides.
STUDENT SERVICES: Book Fair - Help with setup, class visits, and cleanup at our annual Book Fair, which takes place in December.
STUDENT SERVICES: Taste of Nations - Support this unique all-school tradition, an international pot-luck dinner held each January in which Fay faculty, staff, students, and families cook dishes from their home countries or cultures.
STUDENT SERVICES: School Pictures - Provide one-day support to Fay administrators and photographers during all-school photos on campus.
