The University of Malta, in collaboration with the Centre National D’Etudes Spatiales (CNES) in Toulouse, France is organizing a two-day workshop on Remote Sensing and its applications. The workshop will be held virtually on the 13th and 14th of October 2020. The workshop will aim at:

- Training the next generation of scientists and professionals on the use of remote sensing for various domains including urban monitoring, agriculture, environmental monitoring, as well as techniques for object and change detection.
- Explaining the theoretical principles, data products, processing and their uses in various applications.
Introducing tools and methods for the exploitation of EO satellite data (in particular the Orfeo Toolbox)
Providing practical cases of Earth Observation image/data processing.

Interested participants are requested to register by no later than Friday 9th October 2020. The workshop is free and no previous Remote Sensing experience is required.
